It looks like I’ve stepped back into the past, and it felt like it too. This is me at the State Library of SA. I was there for the Re:Views Conference and the All Write Festival in March, 2005.
There is nothing more satisfying for an author than the launch of a new book. And the launch of Pemberthy Bear was magical.

Here I am with New Frontier's owners, Peter and Sophia Whitfield.

With Jacqui, signing the books (look at the yummy teddy bear cake!)

Here I am with John Cohen, the editor of Reading Time and Jacqui Grantford, the illustrator.
Having good friends who are also authors means conferences can be lots of fun. Here I am in Hobart at the CBCA Conference in 2003, with author friends Sue Whiting and Claire Saxby. We are trying to look like the three wise monkeys.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe I really wrote these books! Here I am amazed at the posters advertising MY book at the Hobart conference.

I love getting out and about to share my books with others. Here I am in 2004 at the Koorda Show at my book display and, later, reading The Floatingest Frog in the story corner. Those hay bales were a little prickly!
